Milo is the first piece in Tristan Titeux's ReCut series of furniture made from waste wood offcuts from his fitted furniture company as well as recut pieces from old unwanted fitted furniture they remove from peoples houses.
Instead of dumping it Tristan would rather use it, save on space in the dump, or save it from incineration and pollution they both create or save using new raw materials. It is solid as a rock and will last forever and can be refurbished forever into infinity, it just needs a resand and a natural oil.
Each Milo is made to order and totally unique as it depends on the materials available and the mood of the crafstmen.
Dimensions: 45cm width x 45cm depth x 45cm height
Materials: Milo is made from all man made boards that are suitable for fitted furniture as well as bits of softwood and hardwood here and there. It is glued with a natural plant based glue and screwed together where necessary. It is oiled with a natural plant based oil.
